To activate Invisible Mode in the family link GPS app, start by opening the app and navigating to your profile settings. From there, you’ll find an option labeled “Invisible Mode.” Simply toggle this option to turn it on, and your location will no longer be visible to other group members. You can turn off Invisible Mode just as easily by toggling the same option when you’re ready to share your location again. While in Invisible Mode, the app continues to function normally, but your movements will not be tracked or displayed on the map.
To begin using avatars in the GPS tracker app, navigate to the "Profile" section of each group member. Here, you can either upload a photo or choose from a selection of default icons. Once selected, the avatar will appear next to the corresponding member on the map, providing an instant visual reference. Setting up avatars takes just a few moments and adds a personal touch to your Family GPS experience.
When Invisible Mode is activated, you can continue to use all other features of the app, such as receiving notifications or checking the location of your group members. This feature is particularly useful if you want to take a break from sharing your location without disrupting your participation in the group. The user-friendly design ensures that you can activate or deactivate this mode with just a few taps, giving you the flexibility to manage your privacy as needed.
